Richard W. Tanner Memorial Scholarship

Enrolled member of an American Indian tribe. Preference will be given to members of Minnesota tribes. Preference will be given to applicants entering their junior or senior year at BSU and be in good academic standing (2.25 GPA). To apply, students must write a 250 word essay describing their involvement in the Indian community and how accomplishing their educational goals will benefit the community. The essay and one letter of reference from an academic counselor, teacher or from a community member must be submitted to the Executive Director of the American Indian Resource Center who will assemble a selection committee.
