Dave Sorensen Business Scholarship

Graduate from a Minnesota High School. Preference for this scholarship will be given to students from Northern Minnesota. Recipients are required to have a minimum BSU GPA of 2.5, be an active participant in BSU Business Department student activities and have demonstrated leadership skills at BUS and/or in the community. Additionally financial need should be a consideration. The application process shall include a brief essay response to each of the following questions: 1) How will receiving this scholarship assist in maximizing my learning experience at Bemidji State University? 2) As a result of receiving this scholarship, in what way do I envision using my business degree, talents, abilities and leadership skills to contribute to my community and BSU following my graduation? A student who receives the Dave Sorensen Business Scholarship may reapply in subsequent years, but shall not receive more than two Dave Sorensen Business Scholarship awards.
